In my salon hangs a picture of my dream salon; drawn by by the 7 year old little girl that was once me.  As that little girl grew up and the dream came to fruition, my goal was, and always will be, to provide my guests the best possible experience. I achieve this by soaking up as much knowledge and skills as humanly possible. AVEDA’s 10 points of difference and countless AVEDA training classes have given me the template to do exactly that.  As my career has progressed my focus has shifted from myself to my entire staff and salon as a whole.  I derive inspiration from watching the people I have coached transform into confident inspiring people themselves.

17 years ago I went to beauty school. Immediately following school I landed my first job at Appearances in Menomonie WI. Unfortunately Appearances is no longer in business, but for those who were around Menomonie in the 90's and early 2000's that was the place to get your hair done. After my time at appearances I took a position as the manager of Estilo Salon in Eau Claire WI. At age 23, I was presented a unique opportunity to purchase the business. As wild as it was I knew it was something I would regret not doing. So, I did it. I became the owner of Estilo Salon.

10 years after owning Estilo Salon Eau Claire I was considering expanding the business. After a few meetings about an addition my soon to be husband and I had lunch at our favorite watering hole in Menomonie, The Silver Dollar. Saloon  As we pulled up we noticed the adjacent building was for sale. I called the number in the window and put an offer in the following day. That spring while planning our wedding we completely remodeled the building and opened our second location 2 days after the wedding.

I am now the owner of 2 salons, happily married, and a mother to my amazing daughter, Marley.  Marley has inspired me to work even harder and be even better. Estilo Salon Eau Claire is currently undergoing a major expansion which will double our footprint and add 3 additional stylist stations. We are also working on opening up a high end mens barbershop next to our Menomonie location. While my husband focuses on 2 construction projects I am applying to become an AVEDA educator.

My goal is always to encourage and motivate people to perform at their highest potential. I love spoiling my guests with massages and hot towels, along with a nice relaxing environment. The connection I have with my guests feel like they are a member of my family. I love taking charge of an appointment. Advising a guest in the best possible direction to achieve their best look. I am obsessed with perfecting and detailing cuts. I promise you the best haircut of your life. You’ll leave my chair confident and able to recreate your new look at home.
